DMI’s involvement in Zambia commenced in 2009. The Churches in Zambia affiliated with DMI go under the name of Deaf Christian Church of Christ. There are 11 congregations though out Zambia but the two largest numbering in the hundreds are in Lusaka the capital. Other congregations are meeting in Kasama, Mpika,Lundazi, Chipata,Mkushi, Chilenje,Choma, Mazabuka,Kitwe and Ndola.

Pastor Lewis and family

The work in Zambia was commenced by Pastor Lewis Nkhoma
who continues to lead the work to this date. He is deaf as is his
wife. They were recently blessed with a son.
